To be honest, I am not a big fan of the free blogspot and wordpress sites... They don't look very professional. If you don't have the budget for a good site, then maybe that will have to do for now.

Perhaps you could work on the background - it doesn't look like it has much to do with parties...

Its a bit overwhelming with all the pink. Makes your eyes sore. You get nice free Wordpress backgrounds. Try looking for something with a black background and balloons or something party like.
