Dear all,

we are two Germans who plan to launch in Germany a niche online shop with products from South Africa. First, it is planned to start with ostrich products (eggs, dusters, handbags, boas, other leather products...).
We researched and contacted on the internet several ostrich farms and the German South African chamber of commerce, however with little success.

So our question is: do you have any idea/contact/wholesaler/farm list etc. on how we can find a reliable supplier for ostrich products?

Are you planning a trip to South Africa at all?

There are plenty of local artists / crafters supplying these types of products - you would find them at local markets.

I'm sure that I saw some Ostrich eggs on here too:
