Hi

I've always had reasons (excuses - valid or not) why I can't take the next step in my business.

Besides running my business, I work as a half-day PA/Bookkeeper for the past 7 years. Bookkeeping doesn't even feature on my list of career choices, however is what's on my cv the most.

I'm hoping to learn new ways of doing what I love which is anything to do with be creative(e.g. how printing works - different mediums, graphic designing, web designing, branding, buisness services) and how to run a small business succesfully full time. So if there's anyone who can give me advice on how to do this or are in these fields, please send me a friend request?

That's been one of my "excuses". (Not implying that it's yours) I would always say, "I first wanna get this or that before I can take the next, but there's always another excuse lying again."

I just read your entry and the responses. From my perspective, I worked in an organisation in management and PR for 17 years. Then just stepped out into the new wide world. I wanted to do writing and publishing, floundered around for about 30 seconds and then decided I had to know about it (see, I've never done publishing and writing before) as ANYONE can do ANYTHING if they put their minds to it. And here we are, about to launch our company and its first publication mid-August. Can't say it hasn't been 24/7 the last six months and living on a penny. . . but, you have to make a decision and follow your purpose. Its what makes life worth living.

After that long story, I'm simply saying that you have to step out and do it.
