Hi!

I am setting up a small business and in the process of shpping around for a bank acount. May I ask for an advise as to which one of the South African banks to go for? Is there a website that compares South African business bank accounts? I'm obviously looking in terms of good service, support and lesser charges.

I will appreciate your input.

Shile,if you are a sole proprietor the easiest and cheapest way is to open a normal savings account under your name and to use it for your business as trading under.
If you are a pty(ltd) then you must have a business bank account because it is a legal entity.
You can also go and have a look at www.bankmonitor.co.za where you can view all the banks in south africa as well as banking fees and interest they will charge you.
