Adapt-A-Garage was born out of a need to create more space at home without costing you an arm and a leg. In this instance, office space together with a study and a place for office equipment and computers. I was looking for an alternative for building an office extension that would be economical and cost effective. After much deliberation and consulting with builders and architects, I discovered that the prices for building were far higher than I had anticipated.

It became apparent to me that my existing double garage would provide the answers. In my garage I had tools, bicycles, a lawnmower and other bits and pieces of junk that was of no use to me anymore. I then realized that all of this could be stored in my “Zozo” hut in the back of my garden. With all this freed space I converted my garage into a very comfortable 36 sqm office.

Our unique concept retains your existing garage door, either single or double, while transforming your garage into a new customized area with a style to suit your needs. This newly created space can be of your choice and layout, adding or removing internal walls, windows, ceiling, floor covering, electrics, lighting, separate entrances, etc.

Whatever, you need the extra space for, you would be doubling your existing security with our concept and increasing the value of your property. If at any time you would like to revert to your original garage, it can easily be converted back without defacing.

Some of our clients prefer the more permanent type of conversion whereby the garage door/s are removed and the openings either brick up or a door and window installed, etc. We do these type of conversions as well.
Since the inception of Adapt-a-Garage we realized that there is a need to expand and started to market our existing as well as additional services to corporate companies and other home users. We have since applied our services to various companies and home owners alike.

We now also offer additional services i.e. Storage Solutions, Dry walling, Ceilings and General Office renovations, etc. We have quality artisans and all our work is only of the highest quality.
