Hi I'm a new to the group. I decided after college that I wanted to start freelancing as a creative brand strategist, specialising in web and graphic design, strategies and idea generation. My brand is called "Bring the Duct Tape" its all about ideas that fix things...get it?

The only problem is it feels more like an idea at this point and I just want ways of making it something to build on and live off of.

Iv come across a few articles and most will tell you that it is what you make of it.
at first its always a scary and daunting move to start, but lets face the reality, if you dnt try and jump you will never know if it will work or wont.

you need to research your scope of work and remember one thing. " what you put in is what you get out "

Thanks Ebrahim. I guess the hardest thing is just starting and getting over that initial fear that it might not work out. Thanks for the advice though, can you recommend any books or articles for me for getting over this initial stage or how to implement a start up strategy?
