Hi very clever ones

Can anyone please in layman's terms explain the difference between the above. Furthermore, I have what I think is a good idea for one of the above which would be very beneficial to large volumes of people in SA (has to do with the cellular industry), but do not have a clue as to where to start. Has anyone gone through this? What were your steps? Where do I find a developer (reliable/honest/cheap)? Any advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rynardt

I'm not sure on the strict definitions of gadgets, widgets and apps. I think that sometimes different platforms refer to them differently.

Anyhow, I know that quite a few people use getafreelancer.com to find developers.

I've heard that lots of people have had good results outsourcing to India, although I must say that my dealings with them have only resulted in a headache!

That would be good, Rika. I need someone who will take the concept and turn it into a technical reality. Obviously, without stealing the idea.
