The first thing I would do is work on that menu. It is confusing.

Those two menu items at the bottom look out of place. Perhaps you could divide it up into two menus.

Could you explain in more detail? Perhaps I am missing something here - I think it's quite straight-forward.

Hey Danny thanks for your suggestions. I have already made some changes some weeks ago to the menu and will continue to make it more user-friendly.

What if the publication is not meant to be daily - as in an online news website - but a monthly digital publication (flip-page) plus the inside articles also published on the website, one at a time? What do you think about this?

How is it going with the menu changes. Let me explain a little more in detail what others might be trying to get across:

If your menu categories have sub-categories that drop down then you should not have 2 rows of the menu. You should try break it up a little with less categories and more sub-categories. Eg.

Main Menu:

Home
About you
Forum
Business Directory
-Add My Business
Press Room
-Publications
-Previous Editions
Contact

Second Menu in sidebar:

Subscribe
Contribute
Advertise
Competitions
