Personally I think the header area is too big. I need to scroll down before I can read any of the content. Google also uses such info when ranking websites. Important content should be 'above the fold'.

Also, that top menu seems too prominent. When I opened the site that appeared to me to be the main menu. When looking at the menu items it is clear that it is not the main menu - I had to then look for the main menu...

and.... I don't see any kind of social media integration, I won't go into it here, but this is SO important.

Are Google rankings / SEO important? You don't have any meaningful title tags.

Thanks Dylan for your reviews. I have sent these points to my web designer as I believe they are valid and valuable critiques.

I agree with Dylan, the header logo is a tad big.

Also:

1. Would change the font size on the second menu so all items stay on one line.
2. Correctly align "Order yours online today" button with the orange button on the left.

Apart from that it looks good.

I agree with the large header. It sort of eats up the rest of the page. Also, maybe you can add a few lines/borders because the text look too wide, I don't know how to explain it but I think you either make your font smaller or add definition to the texts. :)

Hi Paul

I see your site's using WordPress, so I'll give you some WordPress specific advice:

1. Please ask your developers to do a check if the user is logged in, seeing my account, change password, view order, edit my address without even being logged in or registered for that matter is very unprofessional.

If they're unfamiliar with it they can get more info here:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_user_logged_in

2. Free Plugins that you should implement to improve -

Search Engine Rankings:

* Google XML Sitemaps http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/
* Keyword Statistics http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/keyword-statistics/
* WordPress SEO by Yoast http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/

Adding Analytics in your website back-end:

* Google Analyticator http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analyticator/

Speeding Up Your Website:

* WP Super Cache http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/

OR (please don't install both at the same time)

* W3 Total Cache http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/w3-total-cache/

Hope this helps,

Best Regards
Francois

I like your website, I guess the changes have been implemented already?

Two things:
- the graphic on the frontpage seems to indicate that the product is a cellphone app. That was my first impression given that the image looks like an iphone screen.
- Who are you marketing this book to? It seems to be unclear whether you are appealing to kids, their parents or adult learners. Which created confusion in my mind as to exactly what kind of product is it and who it is pitched to.

I agree with Thomas. Website looks nice and is easy on the eye, however, I felt initially that the product was aimed at younger kids, but when reading the content, I realized it was actually aimed at parents.

Just my thoughts :-)
