I'm a web designer. Most of my free time is spent looking at sites and thinking about how I could improve on it or learn from it. Point is that my opinion might be a little harsh.
Ok first off the colours I would have changed. I would use more business colours like whites, red or blues. Black and green to me seems more like nature. Nature has very little to do with being a secretary.
The over all layout is very plain. I would have perhaps done a 2 column layout with the main content and sidebar content. The main content would be the content you already have. The sidebar would be links to social media sites you on, a event countdown and perhaps a news feed.
I know most secretaries are female but perhaps less flowers and swirls.
The way the site was made using tables is a very outdated method. There is no way for you to edit the site without HTML knowledge. I would have used something like wordpress to create the site. That way you can easily update the site with news and more.
