Is it enough of a hook to offer a free IT assessment to get customers to fill in a CONTACT FORM? Should I not word it as free - does that scare potential customers?

Hi
I have done a few questions on FB, I even tried a survey, I find people are lazy including me to fill forms, no time you see.
If you offered a free assessment, then said you can improve this or that, people will see the benefit and may then see the benefit of filling what it is you need filled to hook potential customers - Just my opinion :)

The public cannot resist anything free. My opinion is that it is in no way off-putting and will entice people.
