ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Guillaume De Smedt is the Regional Director (Africa) for Startup Grind and founder of Joojooberry (www.joojooberry.co.za) and sits on the board of The Silicon Cape Initiative in the Startup Relations role. He completed a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering.
"G", as he is otherwise known, started his career at a local telecommunications company. He then worked for Daimler Chrysler on robots and advanced sensors. In 2009 he joined One Digital Media as an electronic design engineer creating interactive displays.
G's driving forces are simplicity, functionality & beauty. He loves life, positive attitudes and amazing people with awesome ideas.
