Maritza has a passionate desire to dispel misconceptions that hamper personal growth, happiness and self-image. She, therefore, feels obliged to break the silence on a subject that is often shamefully hidden – hence the book and talks/workshops on the subject of ‘a woman’s hidden treasure’.
You are invited to join Maritza Breitenbach on an unusual journey - Discover your own intimate voice and learn how to enjoy and celebrate the most intimate part of your being”
The talk will be light-hearted, non-invasive with entertaining snippets from ancient times and based on THE COOKIE BOOK: Celebrating the Art, Power and Mystery of Women’s Sweetest Spot. This, first of its kind book offers a refreshing take on women’s most intimate treasure. Winner of two international awards, the latest being a gold trophy in the Benjamin Franklin 2013 Book of the Year Awards (New York), June 2013 (Category: Self help).
What will be covered in the talk.
Background:
A background on how the book came about.
Theme 1: You are unique
Here we’ll gently weave through a few topics such as infancy, puberty, etc. We will discuss a few intimate secrets and point out the wonders of being ‘completely unique and wonderful’.
Theme 2: The taboo
Here we’ll discuss the taboo nature of the topic, and the negative effects thereof. The ladies will be given valuable information that will boost self-confidence and encourage them to discover their own intimate voice. A few tools will also be given to help mothers to create a healthy and natural platform for communication with their daughters.
Conclusion:
Celebrating uniqueness; taking ownership; and enjoying a clear and confidant intimate voice.
About our Guest Speaker:
Maritza Breitenbach was born and raised in South Africa. She spent her childhood as a tomboy with a playful nature and a taste for adventure. Her sense of adventure is perhaps reflected in writing a book about such a taboo subject.
Martiza graduated from the University of Northwest with a Bachelors degree in Sciences (Cum Laude), a Teachers Diploma and a Certificate in Small Business Management (Cum Laude). A few years ago she completed a Masters Degree (MPhil) at the University of Stellenbosch in Applied Bio-Medical Ethics (Cum Laude).
Maritza has a great love for research and is currently busy with a research proposal for a Doctorate in Philosophy. As the author of the Cookie Book, she travels in and around the country doing motivational and self-empowerment talks to women of all ages.
Maritza is a single parent of three lovely children ¬– now all grown up (a 19-year old boy and two girls, ages 22 & 25).
