I sold my car to Vehicle for all and it was collected on the 11th December 2012 and I was told that I would be paid for it within 5 days.
I then received a letter (from a bank) stating that I would be paid on the 03rd January 2013.
This did not happen and I was informed by the bank that the letter was fraudulent.
The "owners" of Vehicles for All had sold my car to a client of theirs without having paid me for it and refused to return my vehicle to me. They told me that it was parked at a depot awaiting assessment for financing.
Eventually I got the police involved and my car was returned with an extra 5000km on the clock, smooth tyres and worn shocks. I was offered reimbursement for the damages, but was later informed that it was not going to happen.
Please be careful.
